The month of May

This month has been a whirlwind in the best possible way.

While most people only see the finished film, the truth is that movies are built long before cameras ever start rolling.

May has been full of behind-the-scenes work—location scouting, wardrobe planning, securing props, coordinating logistics, scheduling cast and crew, endless phone calls, messages, emails, and countless moving pieces that somehow all have to fit together at exactly the right time.

There’s a mirror covered in sticky notes—scene numbers, location changes, shooting days, reminders—and those notes have been moved around more times than we can count. Every adjustment represents someone’s schedule, a location window, availability, weather considerations, travel plans, or making sure the right people are in the right place at the right moment.

The planning behind this film has been intricate, delicate, and nonstop.

But it has also been a lot of fun.

We’ve spent time scouting locations and imagining how scenes will come to life. We’ve walked through action sequences, talked through camera movement, rehearsed moments, and started shaping the emotional rhythm of the film piece by piece. Watching it slowly move from an idea into something real has been incredibly exciting.

Now, we’re excitedly—and maybe a little impatiently—awaiting the arrival of our first cast members as filming begins Monday, May 25.

The energy from everyone involved has been incredible. Cast and crew alike are pouring themselves into this project with excitement, passion, and a shared goal of creating something meaningful.

We’re going to work hard.

We’re going to have fun.

We’re going to bring emotion, intensity, and heart into every scene.

And most importantly, we’re creating something we hope stays with people long after the credits roll.

Thank you for following this journey with us and supporting independent film.

We can’t wait to bring this story to you very soon!
